Knight Composites to host Baja Divide Open Forum
Bend, OR, Feb 21, 2017
For immediate release
Keeping with the tradition of upholding the roots of cycling: finding new routes, Knight Composites has partnered with Nicholas Carman and Lael Wilcox to host an open forum and presentation about the recent inaugural running of the Baja Divide at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) on Saturday March 11, from 2-4PM at the Knight booth (#236) on the NAHBS show floor.
As part of pre-production ride testing, Knight sponsored riders who rode the new 29 Enduro and 27.5 Plus wheels, including Carman, and tales of their adventures will be presented at the Knight booth.
Both Carman and Wilcox will lead the presentation, which will be one part route overview and planning and one part open discussion forum focused on preparation, route finding gear selection and good times. Bring your questions and your camera.
The brain child of both Carman and Wilcox, “The Baja Divide” is a rugged 1,700 mile off-pavement bikepacking route down the length of the Baja California peninsula, from San Diego, CA, to San José del Cabo, MX. January 2 saw the first official grand depart, with over 100 riders participating.
