Tom Ritchey began building frames out of his parents garage in Palo Alto in the early 70’s and continued to build his palmares over the course of 45 years of frame and component design and construction. He brought his influence to the inception of what would become the modern mountain bike and has since pioneered discipline specific component design from the 4-Axis stem to the Off Center Rim for geared and disc hubs. Tom continues to design and develop steel frames across multiple categories, complimented by Ritchey’s unique component offering.
